"Little Women: Marmee" 18" American Girl Doll Clothes Dress Pattern
Very easy to make
I haven’t made the dress yet, but will do it this summer with my granddaughter. Wonderful directions with visual and written instructions. Looking forward to the experience!
Really lovely simple pattern, very versatile and quick to sew a cute dress up, I've already made 4!
It fits my smartie well, ,even with the medium bust. Looking forward to trying more patterns fro this designer
Pattern is well done and will be very easy to sew up when I get the chance. I was impressed with both patterns I purchased from Luminaria.
What a wonderful pattern, with great directions. Can hardly wait to get started ;) Thank you very much.
This is a wonderful pattern, I've enjoyed making it for my granddaughter, hope she is pleased with it! I'm thinking about getting a doll for myself so that I can display the dress myself.
I haven't made this yet- but it will be one of the first projects make in the new year!!
I can hardly wait to get started on this incredible pattern, but Christmas responsibilities are sure getting in the way!!! ggg This will definitely be a January project. I'm anxious to make the sweet wrap. Looks so versatile for many other gowns.
The Nutcracker 18" American Girl Doll Clothes Dress Pattern
Love this pattern. I made it in crepe and it turned out beautifully. Easy instructions and shortcut tips. This is the first of several patterns I bought. Looking forward to making the rest!!
I have had some minor struggles; just a different way of sewing pieces together. It's all good ! The strangest part, was using a grided basket? to place your pleats, sort of a pattern direction I guess? ? I figured it out on my own using a 1" square grid, per pleat for my doll's waist size........ Loved, love the hat pattern and instructions are so clear for that and I intend to make more of those, just the cutest ever!! I would have preferred that the thread used in the pictures was of a different colour, too hard to see, and that the lining was a different colour to see it better........I dont understand the reasoning for a 'blind' hem, but I used my presser foot for that, and that came out nice. Overall, Luminaria Designs are fantastic and I am a repeat buyer...I am actually just finishing up this pattern. But I think most of my concerns were because I didn't use the right fabric for the jacket and the lining really didnt help...so horrible lining choice/fabric choice.
Really enjoyed this pattern. Like always, it is a very good fit and instrucrions was easy to follow. I am a fan for sure
This is a great pattern and really fun to sew!
