I have had some minor struggles; just a different way of sewing pieces together. It's all good ! The strangest part, was using a grided basket? to place your pleats, sort of a pattern direction I guess? ? I figured it out on my own using a 1" square grid, per pleat for my doll's waist size........ Loved, love the hat pattern and instructions are so clear for that and I intend to make more of those, just the cutest ever!! I would have preferred that the thread used in the pictures was of a different colour, too hard to see, and that the lining was a different colour to see it better........I dont understand the reasoning for a 'blind' hem, but I used my presser foot for that, and that came out nice. Overall, Luminaria Designs are fantastic and I am a repeat buyer...I am actually just finishing up this pattern. But I think most of my concerns were because I didn't use the right fabric for the jacket and the lining really didnt help...so horrible lining choice/fabric choice.
Erica was great with a problem I encountered. She was prompt and very clear in helping me download the pattern. The pattern made up easily and directions were easy to follow.
